This clip has grown to epic proportions in my family’s mythology since it was filmed in 1988. I have to say, after finding it tucked away on an 8mm tape, I personally don’t think it lives up to its legend. Although, I do laugh every time I watch it. My father used to threaten to send this to America’s Funniest Home Videos. Frankly, I don’t know which is the funnier part, the ball to the face or the numerous rippling fat rolls all over my little two year old body (Now I know why they used to call me Michelin Baby).
Telling Moments from my Childhood 1.

I found this two minute clip on an 8mm tape marked “1991” at my family’s home in Ohio. A telling bit of footage, indeed.

“Ashley” is the first single from notorious musical clan The Fram Jam Hand Band. It was written in honor of Ashley. One imagines this could be what her daydreams (or nightmares) sound like.
